How do I book a job?

There are many ways you can book a job with us. You can call us on 0116 255 7272. You can also send us an e-mail info@mazecroftmaintenance.co.uk if the job is not an emergency, your call will be answered promptly, cheerfully and politely by one of our office personnel or technician who will discuss your requirements.

How much will it cost ?

We can give you a verbal quote over the phone if it's a simple job or better still we can visit your residence to provide a FREE ESTIMATE if we think it's a larger job.

will you do the work for a fixed price ?

We normally give you a good idea over the telephone of how long a job is likely to take. You can then book someone in, and when they arrive they will confirm or revise the estimate based on what they find at the job.

Will you provide the materials to do the job?

Sometimes! If we have them in stock at the time ? if not the materials are charged at their normal cost price (all receipts are kept for viewing for up to 30 days from date of work) plus a one-off charge of £25 to reflect the fact that we are using our time, fuel and expertise to select and find the right materials which may have to be sourced from anywhere in the UK or even outside of the UK in some cases. Any parts/materials supplied by us are fully itemized on your invoice. Most clients obtain their own materials before we arrive, such as tiles for tiling, paint for painting, laminate for flooring, etc, or you can let us do the sourcing for you.

Do your handymen come with all the tools needed for the job?

Yes. All our handymen carry a full range of tools to tackle a huge number of different jobs. They also carry a wide selection of small parts (screws, nails, wall plugs, plumbing connections and so forth).

Will you give a set time for doing my job?

When you call our office, we will allocate a morning, afternoon or early evening booking slot. Morning slots are from 8am to 12 noon. Afternoon slots are from 12 noon to 5pm. Early evening slots are 5pm to 8pm.

How soon can you do my job?

In busy times, we may need up to five days to book your job in, however most jobs are carried out within 1-3 working days. We can fit in same day work based on availability, and the emergency which can be checked by phoning our office.

Do you offer a 24 hour service?

Yes, this is a premium service, charged at £60 per hour plus parts after the hours of 8pm to 7am. Simply call our main number and your call will be diverted to one of our technicians who will be happy to help.

How big a job can you take on?

The majority of jobs we do generally range from 30 minutes to a day. We can do much larger jobs lasting several days, for example taking care of a long 'snagging' list for a customer who has just had builders in or fitting kitchens and bathrooms. We can also provide a full project management on property refurbishment for property developers/landlords and refurbishment after a fire or flood.

What if I am not happy with the work carried out after it has been completed?

All customers are invited to inspect and approve the work prior to paying. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied after our technician has left, we simply ask you to notify us within 24 hours of completion and we will return and repair free of charge any defects in workmanship.

Are you insured for the work that you do?

Yes, we carry £1 million pounds public liability insurance cover.

Do you do commercial work?

Yes, we are happy to work with companies on everyday maintenance requirements around the office, shop, pub, restaurant or school. Simply call our office to discuss your job requirements. Discounts are available for volume work. Accounts can be arranged.

Why is your service any better than others?

What makes us different from other handymen or Property Maintenance companies you might see in small ads is that we ?give it to you straight!? we promise to come and do the job right the first time and If we can't do a job we will not waste your time by promising you we can and then leave you frustrated when we don't show up! unlike other people.

Sometimes you only get one chance to do a job right, so why risk the money you've invested in your diy materials to a cowboy, let the professional take care of it for you.
